Erasmus+ accreditation and the journey with Innovative Generation

Innovative Generation’s Erasmus+ accreditation has paved the way for a series of impactful activities, each contributing to the growth and development of participants and communities. Let’s explore these transformative experiences and their outcomes.

The ‘Art of Development’ training course kicked off the journey. This initiative yielded three significant results:
1. Successful school visits that engaged local students in creative learning experiences, bringing creativity and innovation to Georgian schools. Participants visited Tsilkani and Misaktsieli high schools, implementing four unique workshops. These ranged from exploring emotions through ‘Live Sculptures’ to hands-on ‘Paint Your Emotions’ sessions.
2. A comprehensive video guide on “How to make a workshop” was created as a further result from the visits, providing step-by-step instructions for implementing team-building and communication activities.
3. Additionally, the creation of reflection cards emerged as a versatile tool for facilitating deep thinking and discussion.

Next came the ETSpert training course, which delved into the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers. This self-directed learning experience covered competences needed for the youth workers:

1. The course’s highlight was a visit to M. Šimelionio Gymnasium in Lentvaris, where participants led ten simultaneous workshops on topics like European values, art expression, and critical thinking. This visit concluded with an informative session on European youth opportunities, bridging the gap between formal and non-formal education.

2. Another significant outcome was the creation of the “Forest Echoes” needs cards, a project emphasizing creativity, emotional awareness, and connection with nature.

The IOUTH youth exchange offered teenagers a week-long adventure of hands-on learning experiences. This activity produced two notable outcomes:
1. The emergence of new facilitators, Artūrs and Aistė, who gained valuable skills through a mentorship program with Gvantsa Mezvrishvili.
2. Additionally, a vibrant festival in Perloja showcased cultural diversity and the impact of international exchanges, featuring cultural presentations from six countries

The study visit “Where formal and non-formal meets” focused on building connections between various educational institutions and youth centers. Participants visited six different locations, including schools, youth centers, and a kindergarten. This networking opportunity led to tangible results: A group of youngsters and a teacher from Gravitas School participated in a youth exchange in Hungary, stemming from connections made during the visit. There were also repeated visits to youth centers to share Erasmus+ opportunities. More info at: https://innovativegeneration.eu/studyvisit2024/

These initiatives have profoundly enriched the personal and professional lives of participants, blending fun with a sense of purpose. Through engaging workshops, cultural exchanges, and hands-on experiences, individuals have not only developed essential skills but also forged lasting friendships and connections. The combination of joy and professionalism has created an environment where learning thrives, empowering youth to become confident leaders and active citizens. This journey exemplifies how meaningful experiences can transform lives, proving that growth can be both enjoyable and impactful. As participants continue to carry these lessons forward, they embody the spirit of Erasmus+, inspiring others to embrace the power of creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
