Teenagers from Around the World Celebrate in Perloja!

Imagine teenagers from six countries – Georgia, Hungary, Armenia, Spain, Latvia, and Lithuania – coming together in a small town in Lithuania called Perloja. That’s exactly what happened during the IOUTH youth exchange program! This wasn’t your typical school program; it was a week-long adventure filled with fun activities and games.Instead of sitting in classrooms, participants of this youth exchange learned by doing. They played games, had discussions, and participated in workshops. These activities weren’t just for fun; they helped them learn about themselves, the amazing world of technology, and most importantly, each other’s cultures.

Every night was a special celebration of a different country. They shared their traditions, stories, and even danced their hearts out! It was a chance to learn about new cultures and make new friends from all over the world.

The grand finale of the program was the Perloja Festival! This wasn’t just a party; it was a chance for the youth to share everything they learned with the local community. The festival featured presentations about each country, exciting workshops about culture and technology, and even information about the Erasmus+ program that made the whole exchange possible.

By the end of the week, participants of this exchange weren’t just classmates; they were friends. They returned home with a broader view of the world, new skills, and memories that will last a lifetime. The IOUTH youth exchange program showed them that no matter where you come from, we all have something to learn from each other!
