Otilija – Magic in the projects

During 08th-14th July 2019, 32 participants from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece participated in a training called “Magic in the Projects”, under ERASMUS + programme mobility of youth workers.

The overall objective of the project “Magic in the Projects” is to raise quality of Erasmus+ mobility projects and to improve the quality of work with young people, in particular by improving cooperation between youth organizations and other stakeholders. During the training course were used a variety of methods and tools, such as individual and group work, games, simulation tasks, discussions etc. Non-formal learning approaches were included during the project as well as different competences such as Learning by doing, Learning to learn, Learning to be with others. During the project, participants were analysed different methods and ways of better implementation of the project. Some questions were raised to which all together tried to give answers: How to support participants in learning process, How to work in the group, its dynamics and the strengths of each participant, How to set up a project implementation team and what is the role of the partnership and another questions were asked and discussed during the week.

In addition, the cultural part was not missing in this project as well. Participating countries had the opportunity to introduce their country and tradition to the other participants and build a new friendship and partnership. Participants improved various competencies and learned how to create a magic project. In the end, all participants received a certificate. It was a magic week!
