Conducting the survey

Prior to implementation of any project, it is necessary to create and design a survey to make the intervention more effective. Hence, before carrying out Town Twinning Project, one survey with numerous questions was prepared. It was then distributed to the target population (200 Lithuanian School Students in Kaunas) to fill out. Survey carried out two times: – before the project and after the project. The survey was designed to explore the key strengths and shared values within student communities toward sports and personal perceptions regarding sports and health. After reviewing the results from the survey prior to the implementation of the project and then after the implementation of the project, the survey results showed very positive change in students’ perspectives regarding sports, healthy lifestyle and personal level confidence. According to survey results, it is very clear that implementation of such projects and non-formal activities work practically for the change in young people’s life toward the betterment and fulfilment of healthy life.
