About PATH
Promote the engagement of younger generations in decision-making processes and the implementation of activities led by sport associations and federations, particularly those active in hiking and trekking. This involves encouraging young people to actively participate in these organizations as contributors and participants.
General Objectives
- Involve young people in hiking and trekking activities as well as enhancing their participation in associative life and civic engagement in the field of sport. Thus fostering the spread of democratic culture, universalism and social solidarity.
- Promote the natural and cultural heritage represented by the 12 E-Paths that connect European territory, enhancing one’s feeling of belonging to the EU and its values of peace, unity and understanding.
- Enhance communication skills in sports and in particular in hiking associations/federations, using an innovative strategy that relies on a digital oriented approach.
- Promote the co-creation activities in outdoor sports as a tool for mutual learning, creation of collaborative ideas and sharing of decisions and different perspectives.
