Ernesta – Make a change #2

“Everyone enters a project with a different goal. For me, projects as such are a success if I get to know one new thing about myself. It might seem like a very vague goal, but I think it is important to expect the unexpected. The name of the project I am talking about now is “Make a change” and it took place in a beautiful and mysterious Isle of Wight. I think change rarely come from only positive experiences, so a full spectrum of emotions, from happy, laughter, to frustration and a slight fear is what I value the most about this youth exchange. I am glad that the organizers were willing to take a risk, did not give up in moments of frustration and pushed us closer to our limits. Well balanced activities presented to a group of very different people perfectly highlighted the beauty of various perspectives and had the power of making a change in a quite stubborn mind of mine as well. So a big thank you for the organizers who picked the right tools to push us towards a better understanding and all those who were there and took an essential part of the change making experience. I left not only knowing that my goal is reached, but also finding new people I can call friends. It gave me all I could have wished for and I am happy to be a part of this experience! “
