HIKE: (UN)essentials
This Training Course happened in August 2-8, 2018. 23 youth workers from Lithuania, Georgia, United Kingdom, Armenia, Greece, Serbia,Belarus, Latvia gathered to improve their outdoor education skills.
What was all about?
1. Outdoor education
2. Education through sports
3. Live action role-playing (LARP) and geocaching during the hiking (day & night)
4. Using GPS and open-badges
5. Active lifestyle
The highlight of the project, one of the outcomes of the project, was the Manual of outdoor activities which was created by the participants.
Besides that, during the Training Course a wonderful network of youth workers was created to continue the cooperation.
