Narek Hovhannisyan from Vayots dzor region, Armenia, one of the participants of ”In the Mirror” international youth exchange in Lithuania shares his impressions about the project with us.
”2 weeks ago my dream of participating in the Erasmus+ exchange program became reality. Just 2 weeks since I stepped on a plane, with great enthusiasm and impatience waiting for the start of the project. I had many expectations, why not also fears, but what gave me this program in such a short time is simply impossible to describe with words.
Every minute of the program gave me an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of myself. It gave me a great experience in various fields, developed my critical thinking, helped to break many stereotypes, improve my English-speaking skills, but most importantly this program gave me wonderful friends, thanks to which I gained knowledge about different nations, religions and cultures. It was really difficult to say goodbye to them, because we had already become a big family in only 10 days.
I am very grateful to Karén Ayvazyan, President of YCAC NGO for this wonderful opportunity. I am grateful to the Armenian team🇦🇲 Mané, David, Ռիմա and of course the best team leader Naira Sardaryan for always being with me and helping in any situation.
And I am grateful to all of the participants for making each day of the project one of the best days of my life. Thank you for the most beautiful memories❤️… I love you all so much. Miss you❤️ And I am sure we will meet one day”.
